Tony "The Tiger" Lopez is a former three time World Boxing Champion. His record of 50 wins with 34 (or 36 depending on who you're talking to) is quite stunning. He was also named Ring Magazine's "Fight of the Year" in 1988 for his fight with Rocky Lockridge and "Comeback of the Year" in 1990 for regaining his championship from John John Molina.
Tony "the Tiger" joins Josh to discuss his story. How his love for boxing came from his father and older brother, trouble he had with fighting as a youth, channeling that trouble into boxing and how his winning attitude drove his success. He speaks about his motivation, his defeats, boxers vs fighter, his fearlessness when facing Julio Caesar Chavez, his experiences with legendary promoter Don King and his tough talk relating to fighters today, including Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
Tony is another shining example of how a refusal to quit and focus on winning vs money can propel you to success. His message, don't quit and always believe you can win.
