Tiffany Rothman - Film, Theater, MBAs and Ph. Ds - The Story of a Learning Disabled Refugee

Tiffany Rothman immigrated to America from war torn Vietnam in 1975. Her father was the former Minister of Defense for South Vietnam prior to its takeover. Her father was imprisoned twice for his political work. After his second release, he sent her with her mother and sister to America.
At 12 years old, with no grasp of the english language, and a learning disability that affected her ability to process information, Tiffany found herself in Pennsylvania. Facing a language barrier, and post vietnam war prejudice, Tiffany began her education where she earned an MBA and a Ph. D. in Psychology.
After working as a school psychologist for the Department of Education in New York, Tiffany began to pursue her true passion....acting.
She is now a SAG/AFTRA/AEA actress and professional dancer who sits on the board of advisors of the Isadora Duncan International Institute.
In film & television, she is known for her roles in Blue Bloods (2021), What Doesn't Float, L' Odge d'Oor (2021) and Fresh Peaches (2019).
She most recently starred in the true crime film "The Accidental Getaway Driver," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received great honors.
Tiffany comes on the podcast to discuss her passion for acting, her studies in psychology and business, her experiences in the film and entertainment industry, her experiences as a Vietnamese refugee and more!
