Kelsey Fischer - Law, Society and Womanhood in a Male dominated field

Kelsey Fischer is an associate at the law firm of Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP. Ms. Fischer began working at the law firm as a clerk in 2009 and returned following her graduation from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She works with Roger Dreyer and Christopher Wood in representing injured victims and their families. She has a passion for protecting the rights of individuals because it gives her an opportunity to fight for those who might otherwise not have a voice. Ms. Fischer comes on the podcast to talk about her background and her experiences as a college athlete, working for Senator Barbara Boxer, and as a female trial attorney in a male dominated field. She discusses her advice to young female attorneys, her experience in dealing with sexism and her new journey as a working mother.
